PATH fare hike in new Port Authority budget. See how much you will have to pay.

The Port Authority introduced a 2026 budget that calls for a third toll increase since 2023 and the first PATH fare increase in a decade.
The $9.4 billion budget comes with both an inflationary toll increase and a hike to support the capital program and compensate for lingering COVID cost increases in labor and raw materials, and a $3 billion revenue loss over 22 months due to the pandemic, said Elizabeth McCarthy, authority chief financial officer.
PATH fares would increase by 25 cents to $3, effective Jan. 12, which is the first fare hike since 2014.
